Recommended Soiled Scope Transport Process
Step 1
Upon completing the procedure, wipe down the scope according to the scope manufacturer’s directions. Gently place the soiled scope in the InnerSpace Scope Transport Tray with lid to protect the scope and isolate the contaminants to the tray.
Transport soiled trays to the cleaning room in a mobile Tray Trolley.
Step 2
Clean both the scope and Transport Tray.
Transport Tray should be cleaned with an anti-viral germicide. If the scope was used on a C-Diff patient, cleaning the tray with a 10% bleach solution is recommended.
Step 3
Hang clean scope in an InnerSpace Scope Storage cabinet.
Place the clean Transport Tray in the staging cabinet for reuse in the procedure room.
