Stanley InnerSpace Set to Debut Intelligent Locking System (ILS) at AHRMM09

SpaceTRAX® plus RFID inventory management software system also to be highlighted

Grand Rapids, Mich. (July 13, 2009) -- Healthcare supply chain professionals will get a preview of the latest technologies available in healthcare storage with Stanley InnerSpace's launch of ILS, its proprietary intelligent locking system, at AHRMM09 in Tampa, Fla. InnerSpace will also feature SpaceTRAX®, its inventory management software system with optional RFID features, at the July 20-21 annual conference and exhibition. InnerSpace's booth is #522.

Starting this fall, ILS will be available on InnerSpace's line of small procedure carts. Managed wirelessly through a web-based software application that includes "drag and drop" administrative features, ILS intuitively tracks and communicates remotely with carts.

"ILS simplifies an administrator's role," says Bob Potter, Stanley InnerSpace's technical solutions product manager. Administrators can easily add and manage user information, including assigning users to groups as well as authorizing access to specific carts via a keypad, proximity card, or both. "Other features include value-added reporting capabilities and the ability to send out email alerts to selected users," Potter says.

SpaceTRAX's key features include web-based software; automatic supply management through the use of barcodes; easy integration into billing, purchasing, and patient information; and compatibility with InnerSpace carts, cabinets, and casework.
